Country Lyrics

I'm Acey. I love country music and I hope since you're here you do too! This blog is dedicated to country music stars and their songs. I find pictures I think suit the lyrics and put the two together. If you have submissions or suggestions feel free to drop in my ask.
Please note that most of the photography is NOT mine and if you know who is I would appreciate crediting the source

"You know I know you like the back of my hand
But did you know I’m gonna do all that I can right here
I’m gonna lie with you till you fall asleep
When the morning comes I’m still gonna be right here (yes I am)
So take your worries and just drop them at the door
Baby leave it all behind
When your long day is over
And you can barely drag your feet
The weight of the world is on your shoulders
I know what you need
Bring it on home to me”- Little Big Town “Bring It On Home”

"Let your hair down, hair down Get you some of this laid on back Kick your shoes off, kick ‘em off Get you some of this slow down fast I’ll take you up and down these hollers and hills Let me show you how country feels”- Randy Houser “How Country Feels”

Hello to everyone!

It’s been quite a while and I realize I’ve been seriously neglecting this blog. I apologize for that. The past while I’ve been dealing with school and then recently a family member got sick and has passed away. I promise over the next couple weeks I’ll try my best to be more present and will probably have a few older country songs dedicated to him.

As always I want this blog to reflect songs that have meaning to everyone so if there is a recommendation you have please let me know and we can share our country music addictions together.

All the best and thank you for sticking around

"Another day has almost come and gone, Can’t imagine what else could go wrong. Sometimes I’d like to hide away somewhere and lock the door. A single battle lost but not the war. ‘Cause tomorrow’s another day and I’m thirsty anyway So bring on the rain.”- Jo Dee Messina “Bring On the Rain”

"That’s what I love about Sunday: Sing along as the choir sways; Every verse of Amazin’ Grace, An’ then we shake the Preacher’s hand. Go home, into your blue jeans; Have some chicken an’ some baked beans. Pick a back yard football team, Not do much of anything: That’s what I love about Sunday”- Craig Morgan “That’s What I Love About Sunday”
